Alex is Co-Director of Policy and Government Affairs at Health Care For All (HCFA). His work focuses on low-income seniors, delivery system reform, integration of social determinants of health, oral health integration and prescription drugs. Prior to joining HCFA, Alex was the Senior Program Manager for Medicaid Strategies at Partners HealthCare where he led the creation and operation of their Medicaid Accountable Care Organization. He also served as the Senior Health Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow where oversaw her health care portfolio and focused on legislation such as the Affordable Care Act and the Excellence in Mental Health Act. He holds a B.A. from Vassar College, and an M.P.A. from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Neetu Singh is the project manager of the Oral Health Integration Project (OHIP) at Health Care For All. The project promotes the health of all Massachusetts residents by advocating for the integration of dental and medical care in the healthcare delivery system. Dr. Singh is a licensed general dentist and earned her doctorate at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in 2010. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Westchester Medical Center in NY in 2011 and subsequently practiced in NYC for several years. As a result of her academic and clinical experiences, Dr. Singh recognized the importance of access to appropriate oral & dental health care as a public health issue and thus obtained her Master of Public Health degree at the Harvard School of Public Health in the summer of 2016. Dr. Singh understands the critical role that oral health plays in overall health and is excited and passionate about pushing forward oral health integration efforts in Massachusetts.

Carlos Solis moved to the U.S. in 2006 and has been employed by HCFA since 2008. In addition to his work at HCFA, he has served as a freelance reporter for several Hispanic newspapers, including La Semana, Siglo 21, El Planeta and El Mundo. Carlos continues to work as a correspondent for the major Nicaraguan newspapers, El Nuevo Diario. He is also an experienced filmmaker and co-director and co-producer of the 2005 documentary "NICA/ragüense," which was awarded Best Documentary at the XIV Costa Rican Film Festival.

Sally Strniste serves as a member of Health Care For All’s Management team and as a liaison to the Executive Director. Sally leads the organizations development and fundraising work which includes major event planning activities. Additionally, Sally provides strategic support to the board of directors as well as to major organizational campaigns and programs. Sally began her career working as a community organizer, canvass director and campaign coordinator in Lowell, Cape Cod, South Boston and Dorchester. Sally graduated Magna Cum Laude from UMASS Boston with a B.A. in Political Science and is currently seeking her J.D. at night from Suffolk University Law School.

Alex Tappan is working in the Development Department at HCFA. Alex is responsible for assisting the Development Team in donor cultivation and outreach, grant research, and event planning, among other responsibilities.

Alyssa’s work focuses on policy and advocacy related to private insurance, payment and delivery system reform, and prescription drug reform. Prior to HCFA, Alyssa worked as a Legal Fellow at Health Law Advocates, where she represented low-income clients experiencing difficulty accessing health care. She earned a joint degree in law from Northeastern University School of Law and a Masters in Public Health from Tufts School of Medicine, completing legal internships at Greater Boston Legal Services Health Care Unit, Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee, Physicians For Human Rights and the Massachusetts Federal District Court. Prior to law school she worked for a number of years in the fields of reproductive health advocacy at Pathfinder International and immigrant health advocacy at Health Care For All.

Shiliu Wang is Health Care For All’s Health Justice Organizer. In this role, Shiliu works to partner closely with members of the Health Care For All community, including individuals who use our helpline services to sign up for health insurance, Massachusetts residents who care deeply about health equity and health care affordability and local community and coalition partners to build a health justice movement in Massachusetts. Prior to Health Care For All, Shiliu worked at Health Leads as a Relationship Manager where she built and managed relationships with various types of organizations across the health care sector interested in developing social determinant of health interventions. Shiliu also continues her grassroots organizing work around anti-displacement efforts, anti-deportation efforts and political education the greater Boston Area and sees these issue areas as all connected to health and health justice. Shiliu received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cornell University.
